Leather:
Uses 1.8mm thick IMPERMA-LEATHER.
To create a soft leather, we use A-grade Japanese daily steer rawhide.
This functional leather uses fluorine, is tanned using a special technique, and is dyed with oil to make it waterproof while maintaining its natural appearance.
This performance is applied not only to the surface but also to the fibers within, so it lasts almost permanently.
Recently, there has been a lot of talk about fluorine as an environmental issue, but of the hundreds of types of fluorine that are said to exist, ImpermaRazor uses fluorine that is not a pollutant, making it an environmentally friendly product.
Shoes made from this leather are incredibly soft and wrap around your feet.
The quality is so good that you'll be impressed with how comfortable they are from the moment you put them on.
Aging image:
Due to its waterproof properties, it is 100% chrome tanned, so the color will not be affected by aging.
However, since the leather contains a lot of wax, brushing it with a nourishing moisturizing cream will give it a more luxurious shine.

Last :
Based on the 1940s US NAVY service shoes, ARCHIVE TOKYO has fine-tuned the swing, toe, and instep height of the foot shape to create an original last [SV100] that is carved to fit the Japanese foot shape.

Process:
Goodyear welt construction
It is said to have originated in the late 1870s when Charles Goodyear Jr. invented a mechanical manufacturing method based on the hand-sewn welt method, using a lockstitch machine. Today, it is famous as a representative manufacturing method in the UK. It is also an essential method for making authentic shoes in Japan.
This manufacturing method has several features.
- Excellent durability and water resistance: The intricate stitching provides durability, and the shoe has a structure that has no gaps from the inside to the outside, making it also suitable for water resistance.
- A comfortable fit that becomes more comfortable with each wear. With this manufacturing method, the insole is packed with plenty of cork, so the cork sinks in with each step you take, and conforms to the shape of the wearer's sole.
This means that even ready-made shoes will fit your feet comfortably.
The upper and outsole are not directly sewn together, so the sole can be easily removed and repaired. As long as you take good care of the upper, you can wear it almost forever.

Waxed cotton lace.
Three colors are included as standard: Black, Olive, and Offwhite.
You can wear it with a dress or casually with denim, depending on your personality and mood.

Design Details:
The outer wing type has a part called the wing through which the shoelace passes that is sewn over the instep. It is easy to put on and take off because it is easy to open and close, and it is also easy to adjust the size. The classic 9-hole ankle boots are easy to match with anything from dresses to casual wear.
The toe is a classic three-stitch straight tip style.
The lining is made of firm cowhide leather, which is perfectly matched with the soft upper leather.
The heel height is 2.8cm, designed with comfort in mind.

The double welt sole has stitching all the way around from the toe to the heel, and the edge also acts as a bumper.

Boichi specification: The seam at the heel is reinforced by vertically covering it with a separate part.
This reduces the stress on the sewing points.

The ARCHIVETOKYO arch design is engraved in gold leaf.
The mark is designed as a classic one, inspired by the arch of the foot.

There is a pull strap with the brand logo on the back of the opening, which can be easily put on and taken off by putting your finger through it.

Outsole:
US VIBRAM #700
The chevron patterned sole makes it perfect for use on asphalt.
Because it is oil resistant, it is often used in engineer and work boots.
The rubber sole is designed to be slightly softer in hardness, providing good grip and making it comfortable to wear.
